An
undergraduate student may file a request for transfer credits with
the Academic Office. The student may transfer up to 134 quarter
credits earned from other colleges and universities. These credits
must have been taken at the undergraduate level. However, the Vice
President of Academic Affairs has the discretion to determine the
quality, content and transferability of credits from another school.
No credits are transferable for any course in which a grade is below
a "C". Transfer credits evaluated by an independent agency
and approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs will become
a permanent part of the student's record.

A graduate
student may file a request for transfer credits with the Vice President
of Academic Affairs. The graduate student may transfer up to 8 quarter
credits (i.e., the equivalent of two classes) earned from other
universities. Units transferred must have been taken at the graduate
level within the past ten years. However, the Vice President of
Academic Affairs has the discretion as to the quality, content and
transferability of credits from another school. In any case, no
credits are transferable for any course in which a grade is below
a "C". However, a graduate student must maintain an overall
GPA of 3.0. Consequently, for every "C" grade transferred
or earned, the student must earn an "A" to maintain an
acceptable 3.0 GPA. Transferred credits evaluated by an independent
agency and approved by the Vice President of Academic Affairs will
become a permanent part of the student's record. |
