This is the most exciting time I have experienced in my career as a teacher and administrator in higher education. The world is experiencing exponential growth in education and training in all forms and modalities. The growth of E-Commerce has seen a parallel growth in E-Education as well as other flexible and distance modalities. Now students can have their instructors come to them, either in a real or a virtual sense. This ease and flexibility has resulted in course and program enrollments at a rate heretofore not experienced in academia. Ipersonally believe that this is "New Wine" and we must structure our courses and programs accordingly. I believe that business and government leaders are being tested on a daily basis with problems and issues unknown and unanticipated a mere five years ago. These leaders cannot know everything they need to know in order to respond to these challenges. Instead, they must utilize their ability to think creatively, make decisions, and communicate to solve problems. Education that enhances these abilities is required by present and future business and government leaders in order to succeed. California American University’s programs are structured and designed to emphasize and enhance these abilities.
